Book Club?!

 The only time I was truly in book clubs that I can remember was in elementary school and that was defiantly a good experience because if you had enough in a group each student had a certain passage in the book that they would have to read so that everyone could be caught up in the book. we would have reading times on our own and then have to come together as a team to help each other understand what we each read and see what we can come up with each other to explain to our teacher what the book is about.

Books haven't been my strongest suit whatsoever so I will say when it came to having these book clubs it was a great thing to help me understand the opinion of others and what others thought about the book and it could help me understand exactly what I am reading better.

    Hi Paden it is great to meet you on your Blog Space. It seems that you have a passion for children. So do I, except when they enter middle school. LOL A book Club can certainly incite a love for reading as well as build relationships.

Reflection Favorite Picture Book

 My favorite picture book as a child was Don't Let the Pigeon Drive This Bus! By: Mo Willems. I think this was my favorite book when I was a child because just the idea of it I feel it was just funny to let a pigeon drive a bus and it just made me actually imagine the thing actually taking place. Historical Fiction

     Historical Fiction is basically real historical events used in a fictional setting for its story at the time. Lets say that the story is set in a time that we are very fond of and it could really be anything in history so lets say Gladiator, the story and setting take place years and years ago in the past but the actual movie most likely did not happen in the past, it was just made up in that time period to show what could've happen in that time. To me when it comes to my thoughts on this genre, I feel that it is good to have books or even movies like this genre because when it comes to the past we only know what is taught to us or what we learn on our own. We can have the books and movies based in the past to give us an idea of what exactly could've happened back then.
